Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
To provide support to the Investments Analyst in the investment analysis and decision-making processes within the Unit

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data to evaluate investment opportunities. 
Assist in conducting thorough research on industries, market trends, and specific companies to provide valuable insights into potential investment opportunities and assessing the competitive landscape.
Assist in building and maintaining financial models to forecast the performance of investments, assess their value, and analyze potential returns. 
Assist in preparing reports and presentations summarizing investment analysis, recommendations, and findings. 
Assist in evaluating the risks associated with potential investments, including market risks, industry risks, and company-specific risks. 
Collaborate with the Investment analyst to provide input on investment decisions. This may involve participating in meetings, presenting findings, and offering recommendations based on thorough analysis.
Assist in tracking the performance of existing investments and providing regular updates to the investment team. This includes monitoring financial news, market trends, and any developments that could impact the portfolio.
Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and guidelines. 
Any other duties assigned by the Investments Analyst

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Minimum level of academic qualifications required to perform effectively in the role

• GCE or Equivalent with Credits or Better in Five Subjects, Mathematics and English Included.
• Diploma in Economics/Finance/Business Administration or business-related fields
