Job Description

Job Purpose

To provide compliance monitoring, sound, and robust advice to both ZCCM-IH and its subsidiaries leading to the company’s compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This includes conducting compliance assessments, developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures, and supporting training initiatives to promote a culture of compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1.1            Conducting compliance checks against all statutory laws to ensure regulatory compliance or adherence to amendments or changes. Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.

1.2            Develop or implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.

1.3            Provide compliance reports to management on the compliance statuses or levels and highlight areas of concern.

1.4            For purposes of compliance, identify and review compliance obligations to integrate all regulatory obligations into policies and procedures.

1.5            Map out the regulatory universal for the company and ensure compliance towards the same.

1.1            Provide appropriate advice and opinions to the company as part of managing compliance requirements .

1.2            Conduct due diligence assignments to identify compliance issues and advise Company accordingly.

1.3            Execute compliance monitoring and testing activities to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance controls.

1.4            Respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards of conduct by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures.

1.5            Monitor, and as necessary, coordinate compliance activities of other Directorates to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends.

1.6            Collaborate with other Directorates to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.

1.7            Evaluate and monitor compliance risks associated with third-party relationships, including vendors and business partners.

1.8            Participate in the drafting of all Company procedures and policies as may be amended from time to time.

Any other lawful duties as assigned to you from time to time.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Grade Twelve or Equivalent with Credits or Better in Five  Subjects, Mathematics and English Included.

Degree or equivalent

Professional qualification in a related field
